SMTP Office 365: How to temporarily disable the connector?

Learn how to temporarily disable your Office 365 SMTP connector.

In order to temporarily suspend the Office 365 SMTP connector, we are going to deactivate the "routing rule", associated to the "SMTP connector" which allows the mail flow routing to our Letsignit servers.

Disable the routing rule:

Go to your Office 365 "Admin" area:

From the left hand menu, go to the "Exchange Administration Centre" section:

From the "Mail Flow" section, go to the "Rules" menu:

In the next window, locate the Letsignit rule, as shown below:

You just have to uncheck the box to disable the Letsignit "routing rule":

If you want to restore the Office 365 SMTP service, you just need to re-enable the "routing rule" by checking the box, following the previous steps.
