How does it work?
The administrator creates a poll from the campaign designer by defining a question and response options: either emojis (up to 5) or text (up to 4).
The poll functions in the same way as an e-mail banner, and benefits from the same parameterization possibilities (programming of end date, choice of internal or external audience, etc.).
Recipients can respond to the poll directly from their e-mail by clicking on one of the options. Votes are 100% anonymous.
Responses are automatically collected and displayed in a tab directly in the poll.
How do I create a new poll?
Go to the campaign designer
Open the new poll section in the left-hand menu
Choose the type of poll you wish to create (Emoji or text type)
Drag and drop the poll of your choice into the editing area
Set up your poll (by defining a question and answer options: either emojis (up to 5) or text (up to 4).
(to validate the poll, you must have entered at least one question and at least two answer choices)
How to customize the rendering?
Once you've created your poll, click on the element to access the toolbar. You can change :
the background color
the border style (thickness and color)
How do I access poll results?
In the campaign library, edit your poll
Once in the designer, double-click to open the poll
In the results tab, analyze poll results in real time
How does the recipient respond to the poll?
The survey automatically appears below the signature of the collaborators of your choice (like a banner).
The recipient can answer the poll directly from the email, with a single click on one of the options. Voting is 100% anonymous.
When the recipient has voted on the poll, a confirmation page appears
If the recipient has already voted, his/her vote will not be taken into account because he/she has already voted.
Double voting is prevented by the use of an anonymized session cookie:
This cookie does not collect any personal data.
This cookie has an expiration date of one year.
If the poll is closed, the vote will not be taken into account.
What you need to know
Once your survey has been validated, it can no longer be modified. A confirmation message will inform you of this.
If you send yourself a test e-mail, please note that clicks are not counted, allowing you to test the survey as you wish without biasing the results.
You can't yet duplicate a campaign that contains a survey, so if you try to duplicate it, the action will be blocked.
