As a global administrator, you can now:
authorize subsidiaries to add and remove users (at the subsidiary level)
authorize feature management (vCard, random campaigns, default signature) independently of what happens at the global level
1. Allow the subsidiary administrator to add or remove users:
From the global administration, it is now possible to authorize the addition of users by the subsidiary administrator.
How to grant this right:
When editing or creating a branch, go to the “Permissions for branch administrators” section and enable the “Allow adding/removing users” toggle.
This will allow the branch administrator to import a CSV file from the user list and add the users of their choice to their branch.
They will also be able to delete users imported via CSV or added manually via email.
Only synchronized users cannot be deleted, as is currently the case at the global level.
2. Delegate feature management to the subsidiary administrator:
From the global administration, it is now possible to authorize the management of features by the subsidiary administrator.
How to grant this right:
When editing or creating a branch, go to the “Permissions for branch administrators” section and enable the “Allow activation/deactivation of branch features” toggle.
This will allow the branch administrator to enable or disable the features available on the Features page, which can be accessed from the settings.
How this right works:
When you authorize your subsidiaries to manage features themselves via the toggle:
the global administrator can no longer modify the settings of features present in the editing/creation of the subsidiary (globally).
The branch administrator can enable or disable the three available features (vCard, Random Campaign, and default signature). They also have access to the vCard settings and can customize these fields and the style of the vCard.
If you no longer wish to delegate feature management, simply click on the toggle while editing the branch. The feature settings will remain unchanged and you will be free to modify them again as you wish.
The feature settings will be locked for the branch administrator:
How the global administrator can track feature usage in subsidiaries:
From the global account features page, when the global administrator hovers their mouse over the toggle for each feature, a tooltip informs them whether it is enabled or disabled globally and the number of subsidiaries that have enabled/disabled it.
The global administrator can also view this information by subsidiary in the subsidiary edition.
