This feature allows you to separate your user base into different entities, defined from a common criterion.
The management of these entities is centralized but the administration signatures and campaigns is specific to each entity.
How to create an entity?
From the team tab, in the sub-menu, click on "Entities", then on the button "Create an entity".
2. Enter in the first field the name with which you want to identify your entity, then choose the unique criterion according to which the entity will be created, for example, Country.
The criterion chosen to create your first entity (country in our example) will be the same for all your entities. It is not possible to create entities with different criteria.
3. Enter the value of the criterion with which this entity will be created, for example, France (the value must be entered exactly as it appears in the directory).
When you define a criterion for creating your entities (for example, country), that criterion applies uniformly to all entities at the same level. It is not possible to combine multiple criteria within the same level.
To refine your organization, you can create sub-entities, which allow you to add an additional level of granularity.
4. You can choose the employees to whom you wish to delegate the management of the entity directly in the Select Administrators section.
A entity administrator is not necessarily part of the entity he or she administers.
Global administrators are systematically administrators of all entities.
5. Once you have completed these settings, click on "Create Entity". All users who have the value "France" in the "Country" field of their directory will be imported into the entity.
The time of creation of an entity may vary deppending on the number of users in the entity.
Attention !
Creating an entity based on mapped AD attributes with data types such as ‘Boolean’, ‘date and time’, or ‘alternative collection of security identifiers’ does not work. Users with these attributes will not be included in the created subsidiary. Only creation via mapped attributes of type “String” works.
Examples of mapped attributes that do not work: “accountEnabled,” “createdDateTime,” “dateOfBirth.”
How do I create a sub-entity?
From the Entity list, you can create a sub-entity using the three-dot action menu for the entity you want.
As with entities, enter the name you want to use to identify your sub-entity in the first field, and select the unique criterion for that level based on which the entity will be created, for example, City.
Enter the value of the criterion used to create this entity, for example, Marseille (the value must be entered exactly as it appears in the directory).
It is possible to create up to four levels of sub-entities.
The administrators of an entity are automatically the administrators of all its sub-entities.
How to access your newly created entity:
Go to the main menu and click on the new section dedicated to the entities:
A window containing your entities will appear, simply click on the one you wish to connect to:
You will then be redirected automatically to the homepage of the chosen entity:
