If you find yourself here, you are probably wondering what the role of a Campaign Administrator can do. You are in the right place to understand how to assign this role, or congratulations on your promotion as a Campaign Admin!

To navigate this new role, you will find in this article:

  1. What is a Campaign Admin?

The Campaign Admin has full autonomy over managing and implementing campaigns on the platform while ensuring that certain settings, such as signatures or synchronization, cannot be altered.

He has complete access to the Campaign menu without the ability to override global admin settings. To perform their duties effectively, the Campaign Admin also has access to the team page, users and groups, and statistics.

This role can be assigned across multiple environments. In other words, a person can be assigned to the main platform (root) and additionally to Subsidiary B, but not to Subsidiary C.

  1. How to assign a Campaign Admin?

    Global administrators as well as subsidiary administrators have the rights to assign a Campaign Administrator. Below are the steps to follow depending on your company's configuration:

If your company doesn't have subsidiaries :

  1. From the team page, on the user detail page.
    ​A user can be appointed as a Campaign Admin, regardless of the role they previously held.

If your company has subsidiaries :

You want to assign a Subsidiary Campaign Admin and the user is already in this subsidiary:

  1. In the new team page of the desired subsidiary, assign the user as a Campaign Admin via the role dropdown in the user profile.


  2. In the settings of each subsidiary, add the name of the user you want in the section "Who will be the Campaign Administrators?"

You want to appoint a Subsidiary Campaign Admin, and your user is not in a subsidiary:

  • In the settings of each subsidiary, you must exclude the user from the subsidiary to revert them to the global level.
    Once the user is at the global level, you can appoint them via the user profile in the new team page, as explained in the following paragraph.

You want to appoint a global Campaign Admin, and your user is in a subsidiary:

  • In the settings for each subsidiary, you must exclude the user from the subsidiary so that he/she returns to the global level. Once the user is global, you can name the user in the user file of the new team page, as explained in the next paragraph.

You want to appoint a global Campaign Admin, and your user is at the global level:

  • In the new team page, assign the user as a Campaign Admin via the role dropdown in the user profile.

Attention!

  • The same user cannot be appointed Branch Administrator and Campaign Administrator for the same subsidiary.

  • A Global Campaign Admin cannot be appointed as a Subsidiary Campaign Admin: by default, he/she has the rights to manage the campaigns of the various subsidiaries.
